I used the JBL Endurance Zone earbuds extensively during my runs — a total of 10 sessions ranging from 6km to 21km. The battery life was reliable, and recharging in the case was always quick. The sound quality is excellent, and pairing worked smoothly across my Amazfit GTR4 smartwatch, Google Pixel 8 smartphone, tablet, and laptop. During runs, the earbuds stayed secure and comfortable, even on mountain trails. Only on a couple of occasions did they briefly disconnect from my smartwatch, but that problem stopped happening. The main issue was that, in the last week, the right earbud stopped pairing completely. It only showed a light blue indicator, while the left one paired normally with the darker blue light. The JBL app also failed to detect the right earbud despite multiple attempts to unpair and re-pair. Overall, aside from this critical issue with the right earbud, I really enjoyed the experience. The earbuds provide great sound and a secure fit for long-distance running. I believe this is a technical defect with the unit I received, and if resolved, these earbuds would be an excellent choice for runners who want comfort, durability, and quality sound.
