Installation will not be possible if any of the following conditions occur:

1. The width of the door lock panel is less than 110mm

2. The lock body eccentricity L1 or L2 is less than 17mm

3. For the inner and outer doors, the distance between the door handles is less than 160mm.

4. Wrought iron doors, fence doors, double lock doors, glass security doors, bull head locks, hidden locks, alloy copper doors, mobile doors, folding doors, open-air outdoor doors, etc. cannot be installed; except for the listed special door bodies, There may be other situations where installation is impossible in the on-site environment. 5. If the filling in the door is made of fragile materials or the door body will produce an acid/alkaline corrosive environment due to chemical reaction with the air, it cannot be installed; for example, the filling in the door is gypsum or perlite, etc.

Precautions for installation and modification

1. Overlord lock body description

This product comes standard with a fully automatic lock body. If the original lock body is a standard lock body, it can be adapted and installed;

If the original lock body is a Bawang lock body, you can use the Bawang guide piece and door catch plate to adapt and install it. The solution is as shown in the figure below.

FAQ

1. Does it support fingerprint unlocking for children and the elderly?

Theoretically, the fingerprints of children and the elderly can be used to unlock the door, but because the fingerprints of children under 7 years old are not fully developed, and the fingerprints of the elderly are severely worn, the success rate of unlocking may be reduced and the user experience may be affected.

2. What should I do if the fingerprint recognition is not sensitive?

Please make sure there are no stains on your finger and keep it dry, and press your finger completely on the fingerprint recognition area and try again. Or re-enter a fingerprint, try to increase the input area during the input process, and use the area input at that time during recognition.

3.What is a dummy password?

A dummy password refers to adding any random code before or after entering the correct unlocking password. It supports up to 20 digits to prevent others from peeking when entering the password.

4. What should I do if I forget the unlocking password?

① If the user or administrator password is forgotten, you can use the mobile phone bound to the door lock to directly connect to the settings.

② If there is no mobile phone bound to the door lock and the administrator password is forgotten, the door lock needs to be reset. The reset button is under the dry battery on the inner panel of the door lock. Press and hold for 3 seconds to verify the administrator’s fingerprint according to the door lock prompts.

5. How long does it take to charge the lithium battery?

The lithium battery of the Xiaomi fully automatic smart door lock Pro supports 5V/2A input. After the power is exhausted, use the 5V/2A output power adapter with the original charging cable to charge. It will be fully charged in about 4-5 hours. It may exceed this parameter. It will lead to battery damage or dangerous situations. During the charging process, the door lock can still be used to open and close the door when powered by dry batteries.

6. Can the door lock still work after the lithium battery is discharged?

① Lithium batteries are used to power Wi-Fi, cameras and other functions, and dry batteries are used to power door locks and other functions.

②After the lithium battery is exhausted, the camera, human body sensor, and Wi-Fi functions will be deactivated.

③When the dry battery is charged, the door lock can still verify the door opening. When the dry battery is exhausted, all functions of the door lock including the camera will be disabled.

④ When the battery is exhausted, you can use the emergency key or power bank to temporarily power the door outside the door, and you can use the emergency knob to open the door or replace the battery inside the door.

7. Why do door locks need to connect to Wi-Fi when connecting to Bluetooth? What functions do they support?

8. If the door is locked, how to open the door outside?

The emergency key can be used under any emergency conditions. The door lock can be opened unless the lock cylinder is damaged).

9. How to use coercion fingerprint unlocking?

The coercion fingerprint function needs to be used with a device with Bluetooth gateway function. Set the coercion fingerprint in advance to add emergency contacts. If you encounter bad guys following you or other dangerous situations, use the preset coercion fingerprint to unlock the door. The door lock will contact the preset emergency contact through the APP. People call the police to increase safety.

10. Does the camera recognize faces inaccurately?

The following scenarios may lead to inaccurate face recognition:

① There is backlighting on the person’s face at the door, and the person’s face in the video is very dark; the darker the face, the more likely it is that the camera’s face recognition will be inaccurate.

② Face the camera from the side. The smaller the angle of the side face, the less accurate the camera recognition will be.

11. What should I do if the push is too frequent?
